A4 Evaluation of initial state of target species in the project sites.
C1 Restoration of hydrological regime according to the technical designs.
C2 Restoration of abandoned peat mining areas and seeding of Sphagnum species to enchance regeneration of mire habitats.
C3 Conservation work by volunteers that is giving the opportunity for wider public to get involved in active nature restoration work and helps to implement restoration work in areas where more manpower is needed.
D1 Hydrological, botanical monitoring and remote sensing for quantification the effects of implemented restoration measures.
D2 Monitoring of the effects of project actions on target species.
E1 Networking with other LIFE and NON-LIFE projects related to wetlands, participation in seminars and conferences for spreading, sharing and gaining knowledge about mires and restoration efforts.
E2 Elaboration of project information boards and establishment of LIFE trail with notice boards. Nature trail for visitors in order to provide information regarding LIFE project activities and learning opportunities for school children, and establishing information boards to project areas and restoration sites.
E3 Study and information materials about mires and their restoration. The activity includes also learning visits for school children and teachers, preparation and print of several materials for learning purposes, project’s booklet, website, articles for media.

F1 Project administration by Estonian Fund for Nature and other project beneficiaries.
F2 Final audit of project activities in order to finalise project report and ensure that all activities and costs were in line with relevant guidelines and legislation.
F3 Elaboration of After-LIFE conservation plan in order to secure that activities (e.g. monitoring, maintainance of information materials and website, LIFE trail) which are needed after the end of this project, will be carried out and responsibilities are shared.
